s.luce Orb inner cover – discreet protection for brilliantly beautiful luminaires

The s.luce Orb impresses with its clear spherical shape and its special play of light. To ensure this effect is preserved for a long time, the transparent inner cover protects the inside of the luminaire from incoming dust and flies. It complements your s.luce Orb gallery and pendant lights with 150 cm or 5 m suspension with a practical detail that makes a noticeable difference in everyday use.

Thanks to its transparent design, the cover is barely noticeable and blends discreetly into the luminaire’s design. The glass globe remains visually at the centre, while the cover at the upper opening helps reduce dirt inside.

Small addition, less cleaning effort

Dust and small flies inside the glass globe can affect the attractive appearance of your luminaire. Especially above staircases, in open galleries or with high ceilings, cleaning is often time-consuming because the luminaires are difficult to reach.

This is where the s.luce Orb inner cover comes in: it protects the upper glass opening and reduces the ingress of dust and flies. As a result, the inside of your Orb stays clean for longer and needs to be cleaned less often. Especially with multiple pendants, this is a useful addition for easier maintenance.

Simply thread on before installation

The inner cover is threaded onto the Orb’s textile cable before the luminaire is installed and then positioned at the upper opening of the glass globe. It is therefore best to include the cover when purchasing your luminaire so that it is already to hand during installation.
