The Yuh floor lamp from Louis Poulsen, designed by the design duo GamFratesi, combines Scandinavian clarity with well-considered functionality. The slim lamp body with aluminium shade can be moved up and down on the stem, while the shade can be tilted and rotated to direct the glare-free, downward light exactly where you need it — for example in a reading nook or next to the sofa.
A narrow opening at the top of the shade also allows soft ambient light to escape upwards, combining focused task lighting and atmospheric general lighting in one luminaire. The compact footprint takes up very little space and also adapts flexibly to smaller rooms.
The permanently integrated LED emits warm white light at 2700 Kelvin with very good colour rendering (CRI 90). You can dim it continuously from 15 to 100% using the integrated touch dimmer; the memory function remembers your selected brightness, and the timer function switches the light off automatically after four or eight hours. Materials made of die-cast aluminium, brass and marble ensure a high-quality, stable base.
