The right protection class/protection rating for your outdoor lights
When buying your outdoor light, pay attention to the specified protection class or protection rating. Especially in the garden, there are different areas that require different protection classes depending on the weather conditions.

| IP 23 (standard) | As long as the luminaires are installed directly under a roof overhang, the luminaire should have at least protection class IP 23. |
| IP 44 (dust & splash-proof) | For luminaires on a roofed house wall, you need a protection class of at least IP 44. Light sources do not need to be taken into account, as only the luminaire is involved here. |
| IP 65 (complete protection against contact with water jets) | This protection class is required for bollards, pathway luminaires or spotlights at ground level that need to be protected from direct water. |
| IP 67 (Dust-tight & up to 1m water depth) | Ground lights that are not protected by a roof projection require at least IP 67. They are safe even in heavy rain. |
| IP 68 (permanently submersible) | Lights with protection class IP 68 are ideal for pond areas, as they can remain permanently under water. |

Im Gegensatz zu älteren Leuchtmitteln mit E27 Sockel sind diese Filament-Leuchten ein Hingucker. Ideal bei transparenten oder offenen Leuchtschirmen. Der besondere Clou ist die Dimmbarkeit in drei festen Stufen über kurze Schalterwechsel. Die maximale Stufe mit ca 800 lm ist für die Verwendung als sichtbares Leuchtmittel mehr als genug.
Die kleinste Stufe beträgt 25%, also ca 200lm. Wenn wie bei uns die Lampe mehrflammig ist, ist auch das noch üppig genug. Ich kann das Produkt nur empfehlen. Der Preis ist auch völlig okay.

Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Der Spot hat eine super Qualität, das merkt man schon beim auspacken. Tolle Haptik und schöne Oberflächen.
Die Montage ist durch den Magnetverschluss denkbar einfach und im handumdrehen erledigt. Das Licht lässt sich gut ausrichten und was soll ich sagen. Es sieht an der Decke einfach klasse aus.
