Does your garden stall lamp have to meet certain requirements?
Yes! One Outer light In general, it must be well protected from the weather, because electricity and water is not a good combination. If you buy an outer lamp, you should definitely pay attention to the specified protection class (abbreviated IP). This indicates how strongly your lamp is protected against water and dirt such as dust grains.
A protection class IP20 is sufficient for the interior, whereas outdoors, such as on your terrace, is required at least the protection class IP44. With this protection class, the outer lamp against splash water and objects such as dust grains with a diameter of one millimeter and more is protected. The higher the number, the better the outer lamp is protected.
