History of Nemo luminaires

The young Nemo brand was founded in Milan in 1993 by designers Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini and quickly made a name for itself with luminaires such as the Iota table lamp by Japanese artist Ikaru Mori.

In 1998, the company Italianaluce (known for its Porsche design) joined the Nemo Group. Other member companies today are Illuminating Experiences LLC (New Jersey), Artelux (Paris for the French market) and the lighting brand iGuzzini.
