"Luzy" is a rubber glove, at the ends of which there are between one and five light sources that handle direct light. What is behind it?
The Luzy series, launched in summer 2018, is free from design constraints regarding material and shape! With it, Ingo Maurer is absolutely demonstrated that with sufficient creativity and creative power, every object, no matter how banal - like a household glove - is suitable for an extraordinary lamp.
Depending on the model, metal constructions are hidden inside the glove, which give the whole thing a shape. Each of the Ingo-Maurer-Luzys is painted in elaborate manual work with blue or black color.
The open character arises from the exposed light sources that are on the fingertips of the glove. The lamps attached in a classic light bulb are matted and can be dimmed depending on the lamp. Thus, the incidence of light is rather diffuse instead of dazzling and intense, which creates a pleasant atmosphere in your living space.
Blue and Black Luzy
The Luzy series contains different models. The "Blue" or "Black" lucy pendant lamp is available as pendant lights. This model consists of a blue or black rubber glove with a matt light bulb at the tip of the index finger. Boredom does not arise with this unusual design. Controversial and a clear statement.
