Smart light bulbs – control light flexibly and experience it individually

Smart light bulbs turn conventional lighting into a flexible, convenient and individually controllable lighting solution. Instead of simply switching lamps on and off, modern smart home bulbs and LED light bulbs can be dimmed, their light colour changed, or conveniently operated by remote control, smartphone and – depending on the system – voice control. This makes lighting an active part of the smart home.

Particularly practical: to get started with smart lighting control, it is not always necessary to replace the entire luminaire. For luminaires with replaceable light bulbs, intelligent E27-, E14- or GU10 light bulbs can be used, for example. In addition, there are solutions that also allow permanently installed LED luminaires to be controlled smartly.

Philips Hue light bulbs – one of the classics in the smart home

One of the best-known solutions for intelligent lighting is Philips Hue. We will also be offering this range at skapetze® in the future. Particularly popular are the smart Philips Hue E27 light bulbs as well as the compact Philips Hue GU10 spots.

Depending on the version, the light bulbs offer warm white light, adjustable white light or White & Color Ambiance with coloured light. GU10 White & Color Ambiance spots, for example, can be dimmed wirelessly, controlled via Bluetooth or the Hue Bridge, and allow coloured light in addition to various white tones.

This makes Philips Hue light bulbs ideal for living rooms, kitchens, hallways or existing spot systems. The classic sockets E27 and GU10 are particularly interesting, as existing luminaires can be expanded comparatively easily into a smart lighting solution with them.

s.luce® and iLight – smart lighting control via radio

Lighting control becomes even more flexible with systems from s.luce® and iLight. The focus is not only on the light bulb itself. Complete luminaires and lighting installations can be controlled via radio controllers, remote controls, touch panels or suitable gateways.

The iLight system includes, among other things, radio controllers for LED strips, ZigBee components, remote controls, touch panels as well as smart E27-, E14- and GU10 light bulbs. RGB-, RGBW- and CCT solutions for changing colour and colour temperature are also possible.

Also control 24V and 230V luminaires smartly and easily

A particular advantage of s.luce® Smart-Dim lighting control is the ability to use not only special smart home light bulbs. Existing dimmable luminaires can also be conveniently controlled via suitable radio controllers.

Suitable low-voltage controllers are available for 12/24V LED systems. For classic 230V luminaires there are suitable triac or wireless dimmer solutions. This makes it possible, for example, to dim s.luce® pendant lights, ceiling lights or extensive lighting combinations conveniently, without the light itself having to feature an integrated smart home function.

Depending on the setup, different lighting groups or zones can even be controlled separately. This creates an individually adjustable lighting scene, for example above the dining table, in the living room or in a gallery with several lights.

Smart lighting for greater comfort

Whether a Philips Hue light bulb, smart GU10 LED, intelligent E27 light source or a complete s.luce® wireless lighting control system: smart home lighting enables considerably more flexibility in lighting design. Brightness, light colour and different lighting groups can be adapted to the time of day, the situation and personal preferences.

This turns a classic lamp into a modern lighting solution – from a single smart light source to extensive, wireless-controlled lighting throughout the entire living area.
