Workplace Ordinance

In order to prevent accidents at the workplace and largely prevent them, there is certain technical workplace rules as far as the lighting is concerned. These provide for a legally adapted lighting on the respective working conditions. These rules can be found in the so -called workplace regulation (abbreviated with ArbstättV), whereby the requirements for the different areas of application can be found in the workplace rules (abbreviated with ASR). They are also referred to as technical rules for workplaces.

In the workplace rule 3.4 (ASR 3.4) you can read whether and if so which requirements of the lighting in the workplace must now apply or must be met. Here, every employer can check whether for his company as part of the risk assessment Safety lighting and/or optical control systems are ultimately necessary or not. In any case, these workplace rules have to be observed to avoid accidents- regardless of whether it is only necessary for a simple desk lamp or very high-quality industrial or handicraft lighting.
