4 steps to safe driveway lighting



Whether arriving home late after a cozy evening with friends, after a hard day's work or setting off early for a long-awaited vacation or a day trip - no matter why you are leaving the house in the dark or just arriving home, everyone wants to do so as safely and relaxed as possible.

No hidden tripping hazards that are only visible during the day, or dents in the car because of an overlooked object, because this is not only annoying but can also be dangerous. 


It is therefore advisable to have adequate driveway lighting to prevent accidents. We explain how you can plan and implement this quickly and easily in our 4-step guide.




Step 1: Recognize the danger zone



First of all, you should be aware of which objects in your driveway or yard could potentially cause an accident or which areas could be overlooked. To do this, it is best to take a look at your entrance area during the day, but also in the dark, as some areas may not even be noticeable in the light.


Dangers could arise from insufficiently illuminated kerbs,  flowerbeds Facades  or the invisible boundary of the  garage entrance  are created. Driveway lighting usually makes sense in these areas, as nobody should have to worry about safety when coming home or leaving.


Step 2: Selecting the right type of luminaire for driveway lighting
