There are different types of recessed floor spotlights. For example, GU10 recessed floor spotlights with a socket for replaceable bulbs or recessed LED spotlights. These have a permanently installed bulb.

It often depends on the sockets whether the LED recessed spotlights are dimmable. Permanently installed LEDs cannot be influenced here because it is usually predetermined how you can adjust them. With GU10 recessed floor spotlights it is of course possible to use dimmable or controllable lamps.

When will my recessed floor spotlight be drivable and waterproof?
Especially if you want to install the LED recessed spotlights in your driveway or in front of the garage, you should make sure that the light can withstand this pressure. A clear indication of this is the IP class. A light with an IP67 rating or higher can be driven over. The letters stand for the class and the number for the resistance. A higher number, such as IP68, is of course even better.

Do you simply want to enjoy the view of your garden lighting outside? Then buy the right recessed lights for this. You have to pay close attention to the installation depth. The shape and especially the material of the light are also important here.
