What is Flyte and how does the floating light bulb work?
The base is a rectangular base that houses electromagnets inside. For the cladding, you can choose between oak or walnut wood.
Above the electromagnets there is a radio transmitter for wireless power transmission; the magnetism of the electric magnets lifts the bottom of the light bulb and it floats above the wooden base.
The radio receiver in the base of the light bulb lights up the energy-saving LEDs inside.
How do I correctly place the Flyte bulb on the socket?
If you carefully lower the bulb over the center of the base, the LEDs will start to light up, you will feel the magnets moving upwards and the bulb will automatically move into the correct position.
When you let go of the bulb, it starts to glow and slowly rotate around itself.
To turn off the Flyte light bulb, simply touch the wooden base and the light will go out.
