RGBW + CCT lighting

An ultimate color selection is shown via RGB + CCT. Around 16 million colors can be displayed via RGB, and you can switch between cold white and warm white via CCT. Here you can create each lighting mood individually according to your personal preference.

RGBW CCT - what is it actually?

CCT stands for red - green - blue & Correlated Color Temperature. It describes the color temperature of an LED and is measured in Kelvin. Strictly speaking, it is "the temperature of the Plank radiator associated with a particular color of light emitted by the radiation source."

Typical examples of color temperatures are

  • Warm white: approx. 3300K - like candle, incandescent lamps
  • Neutral white: approx. 3300 to 5000K - like fluorescent tubes
  • Cool white: approx. 5000K - e.g. midday sun

Colorful, more colorful, RGB CCT

By mixing these three colors, almost any shade can be created. With LED light sources, three light-emitting diodes are combined with precisely these colors, allowing virtually all mixed colors to be displayed and dimmed continuously.

CCT - Correlated Color Temperature

The term stands for color temperature control. CCT light management enables the light color to be changed continuously from warm white (2700 Kelvin) to cool white (6500 Kelvin). It also allows the light to be dimmed simultaneously without changing the color temperature.

A perfect play of colors

To achieve a perfect play of colors in your home, we recommend the iLight product series! Any number of iLight LED lamps can be connected together. To control them, you need either the iLight remote control or, if you want to control them via smartphone or tablet, the iLight WiFi box. You can find this in the article under Accessories. You can find the matching "MiLight" app in the App Store for Apple devices or in the Play Store for Android.

Frequent areas of application for RGB CCT light
