Lamps & Lights for the Reception or Entrance Area

Pleasant Waiting Area Lighting

Patients often have to wait a long time until they are called into the patient room. For this reason, suitable lighting should be chosen in the waiting room that alleviates anxiety, provides enough brightness for magazines and books, and creates an attractive room ambiance.

Grid lights, bright ceiling lights, a ceiling floodlight with reading arm, and especially energy-saving ceiling lights or selected pendant lights should be used here. Wall effect lights can also create beautiful light-shadow plays but should not appear too intrusive. The light intensity should be around 200 lux.

Treatment Room Lighting for a Relaxed Atmosphere

In the treatment room, patients often feel great tension and worry. Alleviate their discomfort with beautiful lighting in neutral light colors (about 4000 Kelvin) and appealing shapes. Of course, the illumination for examinations must be sufficient. Simple examinations require a light intensity of 300 lux, simple treatments about 500 lux.

In dental facilities, somewhat cooler light colors of 5000 Kelvin and above should be used (e.g., via LED panel). The patient should not look directly into the lights (glare-free lighting). Indirect lighting is a good idea here.

Gym Room LED Lighting

In gym rooms, movement is the focus. Instead of decorative lighting, ceiling panels, recessed lights, or fixed ceiling lights should be used to provide neutral white light (200 to 500 lux). This lighting creates a fresh room ambiance.

LED Lighting for the Sanitary Room

At the start of work or after work, neutral white or warm lighting is required in sanitary or changing rooms. After all, it should be possible to relax here or calmly prepare for the next steps.

All types of lights can be used here: wall lights, ceiling lights, pendant lights, recessed spots, or floor lamps. Often, downlights are also used for uniform room lighting.
