Controller

A controller is an important part of the Smart Light System and represents the counterpart to the remote control or app LED stripes Or to be able to control and dim, a controller is installed in it. This receives the commands from the associated remote control or app and passes them on to the lamp. If, for example, a different color temperature is set in the app on the smartphone, tablet or the smartwatch, this instruction is forwarded to the controller and it then ensures that the lamp ultimately actually changes its light color.

Such controllers are either installed in a lamp when buying or are also available separately in order to be integrated into a lamp. In this way, the smart light system can then be controlled wirelessly by remote control. However, care must be taken to ensure that the controller fits precisely this system, which otherwise no commands can be received.

Different module controllers are also available for the various smart light systems, which can usually be easily combined with each other. It is best to decide which of the respective controllers to take now after advising the lighting technician in order to have the right device for your own needs.
