Controller

LED Controller von Skapetze, weißes Gehäuse mit QR-Code und buntem Display für Lichtsteuerung.

A controller is an important component of the Smart Light System and serves as the counterpart to the remote control or app. To LED strips To control and dim a light fixture, a controller is installed inside it. This controller receives commands from the corresponding remote control or app and relays them to the light fixture. For example, if a different color temperature is set in the app on a smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch, this instruction is forwarded to the controller, which then ensures that the light actually changes its color. Such controllers are either already built into a light fixture at the time of purchase or are available separately to be integrated into a light fixture. This allows the smart lighting system to be controlled wirelessly via remote control. However, care must be taken to ensure that the controller is compatible with that specific system; otherwise, it will not be able to receive commands.  Different module controllers are sometimes available for the various Smart Light systems, though they can usually be combined with one another without any issues. It’s best to consult a lighting technician to determine which controller to choose, ensuring you have the right device for your specific needs.
