Dark Sky

"Dark Sky" are lighting systems that were specially developed to protect the night sky and the environment from light pollution.
It should be prevented that the night sky is unnaturally light and the human eye and the ecosystem are impaired. Dark Sky lighting systems use reflectors that are directed down to be able to steer the light in a targeted manner and to avoid undesirable spread of light.
What is called Dark Sky technology. You can also have special protective devices such as light covers or shields to limit the light and thus protect the surroundings.
By using Dark Sky lighting, cities and municipalities can minimize the negative effects of light pollution and protect the night sky and the environment.
