Dmx

DMX stands for digital multiplex and refers to a standardized digital control protocol, which enables communication between control units and lighting devices such as headlights, dims and effect devices.
DMX offers precise control of the different parameters such as brightness, color and movement and enables the synchronization of several devices.
It is a serial-based protocol in which the data can be transmitted via a 5-pin XLR or an RJ45 connection.
DMX is a widespread standard and is used in applications such as architectural lighting and show controls.
