Color change

A color change in the lighting technology describes the ability of a light source or lamp to change the light color flexibly. This is often made possible by RGB LEDs (red, green, blue), which can generate almost any desired light color by combining these basic colors. Modern systems often use white LEDs (RGBW) or other color spectra to expand the color palette and also display natural white tones.

The color change is usually controlled via remote controls, smartphone apps or smart home systems, which means that users can individually adjust the lighting mood. This function is used in living rooms, gardens, event locations or public areas to create atmosphere, set decorative accents or to offer functional lighting. Color change lights are particularly popular for events where dynamic light scenarios are required and can often be programmed to create gentle transitions or rhythmic color changes. They combine creative design options with modern technology.
