Directed light

Divided light describes a type of lighting in which light rays are specifically steered in a certain direction in order to highlight a defined area or a specific object. This shape of the lighting is often implemented with spots, stems or selective light sources, which form the light into a clearly bundled light cone.

The lighting light is particularly suitable for accent lighting, in which individual elements such as works of art, furniture or architectural details are to be brought into focus. It emphasizes contrasts and creates visual highlights, which makes it ideal for exhibitions, stage settings or decorative purposes. The targeted control of the light cone can be precisely checked, which can achieve a dramatic and impressive effect. Modern lights often offer adjustable beam angles to further increase the flexibility of directed light.
