Uniform lighting

Uniform lighting is the even distribution of the brightness. It is often referred to as basic or general lighting, since it tries to illuminate a room holistically and sufficiently. The light is completely dispensed with in order not to create great contrasts or light-shadow games. This type of lighting ensures that the important objects in the room, the architecture and the people of which are clearly visible.

Such uniform lighting is particularly important if certain visual tasks have to be implemented or, for example, when it comes to street lighting, attention should be paid to an uniformity of the light density. Among other things, it is very well implemented with indirect lighting, which reflects from the ceiling back into the room. This ensures a soft, low -shadow light.

In the living area, however, there is often a combination of even lighting and commitment, since only in this way individual areas can be emphasized or emphasized. With the uniform lighting, a first overview and orientation in the room is initially ensured and with the tap lighting, individual areas are used, which are particularly beautiful or in which additional light is required.
