Light resistance

The light resistance indicates how well a material whose color and surface properties get in the action of light.

The light resistance is usually rated on a scale of 1 to 8, where 1 stands for low resistance and 8 for very high resistance.
This information is particularly important for materials that are exposed to light in the long term, such as textiles in the sun or works of art in museums.
