Cone

A cone of light is the geometric shape of the light that comes from a light source and spreads in a certain direction.
The light cone is determined by the opening angle of the light source and can vary depending on the application.
For example, a close light cone is often used in spotlights, so the light is focused on a specific area.
A further light cone ensures wider illumination of the light. The light cone also depends on the type of light source, e.g. with an incandescent lamp it can be different than with a fluorescent lamp or an LED lamp.
