Point lighting strength

The point illuminance describes how strong a certain point in a room is illuminated by a light source.
The brightness of the light can be measured at this point in Lux. The decisive factor for this is the distance to the light source, the beam angle, the luminous flux of the lamp and the light scattering.
It is often measured and used when planning the workplace lighting, such as when lighting desks.
A suitable point lighting can help to reduce fatigue and eye load and thus improve eyesight and productivity.
