Investigation lights

As the name suggests, examination lights are used for medical examinations and treatments such as OPS. Here you have to meet certain standards such as a illuminance of at least 1000 lux or light colors tailored to the medical conditions and color rendering. Investigation lights are then usually swivel and pull-out with the help of joints and a handle on the light head in order to be able to move them exactly where the light is needed.

The lamps are then attached either on the ceiling or on the wall. However, if a practice requires local investigative lights, it is attached to a tripod and can therefore be placed in another room at any time. High-quality and energy-saving LEDs or high-voltage and low-voltage halogen lamps are then used as illuminants, with the latter being used less and less.
