Voute luminaires

So -called voute lights serve to light the ceiling edges, i.e. from the edge or the curved transition from the wall to the ceiling. This area is also referred to as a voute, which comes from the French Voúte and where the name of the luminaire comes from. Voute lights serve for indirect lighting in the room, whereby this appears visually larger due to the lightening of the ceiling edges - this type of lighting also fits well into smaller rooms.

The broadcast light of such voute lights is then largely shadow -free with the help of light -linking measures such as reflectors or prisms. This light is usually generated by LED strips or rod -shaped fluorescent lamps. In addition, there is the possibility to install luminous bodies, which themselves form the voute. Especially in vaulted cellars, but also in living areas, Vouteleuchen create a nice look and deliver the right ambience.
