An art object as a pendant luminaire, the BLAKY pendant luminaire from Nova Luce challenges two fundamental principles of lighting design. The first of these principles is the geometric center of the light point: luminaires are usually suspended centrally in rooms. With the BLAKY pendant luminaire, this requirement no longer plays a role; earthing takes place via long cables. As a second principle, we break with the assumption that the cable is purely a means to an end and must therefore be concealed: With the BLAKY from Nova Luce, a forest of cables can be created, with impetuous lines and as an aesthetic function. The luminaire head of the BLAKY pendant luminaire can be mounted at any height with variable inclination - the complete freedom allows for unique combinations. The resulting installations are already more reminiscent of art than design. The direct, clear light of the Nova Luce luminaire is suitable for living spaces and for illuminating individual objects.
