Casambi ASD Module Controller Dali Lights

The CBU-ASD unit is a module that can be integrated directly into a light to control it wirelessly. It is designed for halogen drivers with 0-10V, 1-10V as well as LED or DALI dimming interfaces. It is possible to configure the control output as a digital DALI dimming interface on site or as an analog interface. The module is controlled wirelessly via the CASAMBI app for smartphones and tablets (via Bluetooth 4.0), but control via the light switches is also possible. CASAMBI CBU-ASD modules also give you the option of controlling a large number of lights from any point. This is made possible by a secure and wireless mesh network that the units create automatically. Neither repeaters or routers nor cables or external gateways are required for this.

HOW THE CASAMBI NETWORK WORKS

Each CASAMBI module is both a transmitter and a receiver. This creates its own Bluetooth network (mesh network). The modules communicate with each other and therefore do not require a central unit. A CASAMBI module automatically contacts all other accessible modules. This ensures that all modules are always on the same level. The radio range outdoors is around 20m and increases from light to light. Two modules with different properties are currently available. Both modules can easily be combined in a network.
