The origins
Lucenera is based on a simple concept to put the lamp into the background and leave the main role to the light that illuminates the object. For this, Enzo Catellani uses a black pipe made of carbon combined with a flexible carrier arm. The shape cannot be easier, but the versatility of the lamp is limitless.
The Catellani & Smith Lucenera 208 is a floor lamp with two luminaires and two reflectors. The luminaires are different and the reflectors are attached to flexible luminaires. There is this light with reflectors made of black carbon fiber or white techno fiber. The lamp foot and the flexible arms are each in the right color to the reflector. The reflectors can be moved on the connection to the arms to regulate the beam angle of the light. The lamp has a dimmer on the cable.
