The circular and ring-shaped elements consist of velvet, linen and wood, which, in their entirety, result in the wall lamp cymbal. Cymbal is similar in accordance with its name of a cemetator, i.e. a pelvis. The materials used for the umbrella, velvet and linen, ensure a cozy lighting effect. The light of the integrated LEDs is gently distributed in the room. The wooden element in the middle rounds off the cosiness radiating design perfectly.
The designer Jette Scheib, who studied in Berlin and now lives in Barcelona, has designed the Cymbal luminaire series for the French design light manufacturer Forestier. The designer says about the meaning of lighting: "You can have the softest sofa, but if the lighting is not good, you will never be comfortable."
