Ringelpiez is an Ingo Maurer and team's floor lamp. A ring seems to float in the air. It is carried by a slim black stick made of carbon fiber. LEDs are embedded in the aluminum ring and covered with a diffuser. Only connected via a rod, the ring can be used as an uplight or downlight. The position can be changed with a few simple steps. The rod is extendable from 150 to 210 cm. When designing, care was taken to ensure that the cable runs despite the adjustability in the rod, so that Ringelpiez has an extremely clear and easy presence. The foot is a flat hemisphere made of a slightly rough material in light gray that vaguely reminds of the surface of an unknown moon. Two openings in the foot form the bracket of the staff, one for a vertical position, the second for a slight inclination. The position is simply changed by placing. Ringelpiez is a functional and flexible floor lamp, including usable as a reading light next to seating or next to tables. Ringelpiez is available in two variants: it is available with white or black ring. Ringelpiez can also be used with the frivoloso umbrella. Formally, the umbrella reminds of the folded lampshades from the past century. The frivoloso umbrella is available as an accessories in green or white.
