The Tomoshi rechargeable table lamp by Louis Poulsen was designed by the design studio nendo and takes its name from the Japanese word for light. Its minimalist body with soft curves can be placed wherever you need light thanks to battery operation – from the coffee table to the dining table. The luminaire is available in several colour versions.
The integrated LED module emits a soft, glare-free light downward onto the surface beneath the shade while also providing some ambient light. Using the switch on the stem, you can dim the luminaire in three steps; the warm white light (2700K) becomes even warmer when dimmed thanks to Dim-to-Warm technology.
The rechargeable, replaceable 6200 mAh battery charges via USB-C and provides around 5.5 hours of light at full brightness, and up to 48 hours on the lowest setting. At a height of 24.1 cm and with a carrying handle, Tomoshi is a flexible companion for living rooms and dining areas.
