Hydro is a design by Ross Lovegrove that also looks futuristic and organic. The extensive collection is one of the popular icons in the Artemide range.
The Hydro collection includes various ceiling lights, pendant lights as well as wall and ceiling lights of the subcategories "Droplet" and "Mercury", with 1, 3, 5 or 10 chrome-plated bodies, and either for halogen stable lamps or with firmly installed LEDs.
These chrome -plated bodies are reminiscent of pebbles or floating drops of water or mercury - associations that are reflected in the name of the collection. They are left behind by a round stainless steel plate - in the case of the droplet, this happens on thin metal rods, at Mercury with fine nylon threads - and serve as reflection areas and also accommodate the light sources.
The light, which radiates upwards, not only stages the extraordinary shine of the lamp itself, but is reflected and distributed in the room - as magical, indirect lighting.
