The origins
With Postkrisi, Enzo Catellani begins to edit and shape fiber optic plastic. It is fascinated by this material, of its incredible versatility and its resilience, but above all from the shadow effects that arise when interaction with the light.
The Catellani & Smith Post Krisi T 40 is a table lamp with a luminaire umbrella in the shape of a hemisphere. The umbrella has a diameter of 40 cm, the lamp in total a height of 65 cm. The umbrella is produced from fiberglass and optionally hand -painted in the colors gold, white or silver. The silver and gold version are covered with leaf silver or gold leaf. The luminaire rod to which the umbrella is attached and the luminaire foot are made of metal. A dimmer is integrated on the cable. Two LEDs are installed, each with one power of 1 watts. The LEDs have the color temperature of 2,700 Kelvin extra warm white and are interchangeable if necessary.
