Press Sphere glass pendant light

Press is a series of lights made from the thickest and most transparent glass with a pleasantly rounded linear surface. The shapes are reminiscent of ship's buoys and children's toys. The ribbed glass diffuses the light source and projects linear and streaky patterns. Bold in silhouette and simple in function, Press is made by dropping massive balls of molten glass at 1,200 degrees Celsius, which are pressed into iron molds under tons of pressure to create immensely durable lights.

The Press family also includes a series of pendant lights, vases, bowls and tealight holders.
