The canopy of the ring pendant light is designed so that up to 6 lights can be connected via one power outlet. Combine different colours and sizes, as a centric or eccentric suspension, and create a unique ensemble. There are no limits to your creativity. Simply order the desired conversion together with the selected lights. We deliver your chosen lights to your home ready for connection in your desired configuration. The cable length can be adjusted on site.

Your individual configuration

To ensure we can deliver the light exactly according to your wishes, you have the option of configuring the number of rings, the suspension, the colour of the canopy and the dimming technology yourself. We will show you what to look out for when making your selection.

Model

Select the conversion based on the number of rings you want to operate with one canopy and therefore one power outlet.

Suspension

For the ring pendant light, you can choose between a centric suspension or an eccentric suspension. With centric suspension, all 3 cables converge at the canopy, whereas with eccentric suspension only the live cable runs into the canopy and the other two non-live cables can be positioned freely around the canopy.

If you order a single ring pendant light, the suspension can be determined on site during installation. In the delivered condition, the suspension is eccentric. Here you can choose the colour of the canopy as well as the dimming technology (iLight, or DALI).

Colour of the canopy

Determine the colour of the canopy used entirely according to your wishes. Here you have the option of choosing the right canopy for your ring combination from 4 or 6 colours. Choose the canopy in the ring colour, or use a white canopy for a particularly discreet installation. In the case of an eccentric conversion, the matching steel cable holders are also supplied in the colour of the canopy. We always use the smallest possible canopy for the selected combination. This is usually the following:

1 ring

Canopy Ø 18 cm or Ø 27 cm
Available colours: Black, White, Gold-coloured or Brushed Aluminium

2 - 3 rings

Canopy Ø 27 cm
Available colours: Black, White, Gold-coloured or Brushed Aluminium

4 - 6 rings

Canopy Ø 33 cm
Available colours: Black, White, Gold-coloured or Brushed Aluminium

Dimming

Leading edge / trailing edge phase-cut

The s.luce Ring pendant lights are dimmable by leading edge / trailing edge phase-cut in the delivered condition. If you want to dim them, you will need a suitable LED dimmer. You can find our dimmer recommendations in the product description of the ring pendant lights. If you want to dim the lights by leading edge / trailing edge phase-cut, select this version. If you do not have a dimmer installed and do not want to dim the light in any other way, you should also select this version.

iLight

If you do not have a dimmer installed, the s.luce Ring pendant lights can also be dimmed alternatively via remote control. If you choose iLight as the configuration, corresponding controllers are installed that establish a radio connection to the supplied remote control. You can switch the lights on and off and dim them via the remote control. If you use the existing light switch, the last setting is always retained.

DALI

DALI is a wired system in which the control signal is transmitted via a separate control cable and can be processed by the installed DALI-capable transformer. To control a light via DALI, you need a suitable DALI gateway, e.g. via Loxone or KNX. To enable you to control it via DALI, we install a corresponding DALI-capable transformer in your ring pendant light combination.

ZigBee

ZigBee is a cross-manufacturer radio standard that has also become established in lighting control, among other applications. To be able to control the ring pendant lights via ZigBee, a ZigBee controller is installed in the canopy of the light. You also need a ZigBee gateway (not included in the scope of delivery). You can use our iLight ZigBee gateway for this. If you already use a gateway/bridge from another manufacturer, such as the Philips Hue Bridge or the Ikea TRÅDFRI Gateway, you can also control the ring pendant light in this configuration via that device.

NOTE: This item refers to the labour required for the conversion, including all accessories needed for the conversion such as transformers, controllers and remote controls. The scope of delivery is determined by the selected configuration. No lights are included in the scope of delivery. Can the brightness of the s.luce ring lights be individually adjusted?

Yes, the s.luce ring lights offer the possibility to adjust the brightness according to your needs. The models are compatible with a dimmer or can be controlled via smart light systems that allow flexible adjustment of light intensity – ideal for creating the desired atmosphere in your room.

In what colors and sizes are the s.luce ring pendant lights available?

The s.luce ring pendant lights are available in various colors such as white, aluminum, gold, and black. They are also available in different sizes, including diameters from 40 cm to 150 cm. For even larger variants, we offer XL ring lights upon request to perfectly match your room design.

Can I mount multiple rings on a single canopy?

Yes, a special highlight of the s.luce ring lights is the possibility to attach up to six rings to a single canopy. These rings can be placed either concentrically or eccentrically, allowing you to flexibly direct the light – even if the power outlet is not directly above the table.

What is the difference between concentric and eccentric mounting?

The s.luce ring pendant lights offer two different mounting options that individually shape the look and effect of the light: concentric and eccentric suspension. In the concentric suspension, the cables are attached centrally to the ring, allowing the light to hang perfectly balanced and symmetrically in the room. This variant provides a clear, harmonious look and is particularly suitable as a single lighting element, for example, above the dining table or as a central eye-catcher in the room.

The eccentric suspension, on the other hand, gives the light an asymmetrical, slightly floating appearance, as the cables are attached to the side of the ring. This makes the light appear more dynamic and creates an exciting, modern look. This suspension allows for creative design possibilities and is excellent for installing multiple rings at different heights to create a unique play of light. Both mounting types thus offer flexible adaptation to different room concepts.

Is it possible to individually shorten or extend the suspension if needed?

Yes, the maximum suspension of 500 cm can be shortened during installation. An extension is also possible for an additional fee.

How long do the LEDs last on average?

With normal use of 4–5 hours daily, the LEDs last about 15–20 years before their brightness diminishes.

Are there ready-made sets or suggestions on how I can assemble multiple rings together?

There are 2-6 flame, prefabricated central and eccentric sets as well as individual solutions that can be tailored to your room concept.
