Description

When a conductive metal is touched, the module detects a minimal change in voltage and thus sends the signal to dim. Thanks to its compact design, the module can be installed in table lamps, floor lamps, wall lamps, or pendant lamps with a 230V operating voltage. The module is simply installed in your existing lamp and can dim incandescent or halogen bulbs between 25 and 150 watts or LED bulbs between 3 and 25 watts. Please note: not suitable for lights with transformers. The light housing must be metallic.

This allows you to conveniently dim your bedside lamp (in three stages) or adjust the pendant lamp above the dining table to suit the mood. The floor lamp can be switched on without having to search for the switch on the floor, or the wall lamp can be switched off with a gentle touch.

Please note: With this installation, the light loses its protective conductor. Installation not permitted in Germany according to VDE! Everything at your own risk.

New dimmer for my bedside lamp

Who hasn't searched for the cord switch on the bedside lamp in the dark? With a little craftsmanship, you can modify a suitable lamp (preferably with a metal base). The touch dimmer ensures that the lamp gets a little brighter with each touch (four levels: 0-1-2-3-0). Caution: suitable only for incandescent or halogen lamps! The module could be a bit smaller.
