Gople ceiling lamp - The art of Venetian glassblowing

Venetian glass is processed by hand using traditional methods, whereby white glass is gradually transformed into crystal glass by combining the two components during glass blowing. By adding metallizations such as copper, silver or blue lacquer, the Gople ceiling light shines in many different shades.

How environmentally friendly does Artemide produce its lights?

Artemide uses what is known as "sputtering" for its coating processes. This prevents emissions of cyanides and sulphuric acid into the atmosphere, which occur during galvanic processing. The paint that is applied contains only about 5% solvents, compared to almost 75% for conventional products.
