• Protection zone 0 is located directly in the shower and bathtub. Lamps there must be able to withstand submersion, which is guaranteed by protection class IPX7 and the highest 12 volts.
• If you want to install your ceiling light directly above the shower or bath, this falls into protection zone 1. IPX5 is required here, as water jets are not excluded.
• IPX4 is sufficient for luminaires in Zone 2 and above, i.e. anything over 60 cm.
