Where can I view lights on-site?
Where can I view lights on-site?
In our showroom in Simbach a. Inn (near Passau), you can view and try out our extensive collection of lights. We present over 1,000 designer lights. If you find your favorite light, you can take it with you right away. Our experienced lighting planners are happy to assist you on your way to individual lighting solutions. Please reserve an appointment in advance so that we have enough time for your consultation. Additional appointments are possible by arrangement!
How does lighting planning work?
How does lighting planning work?
Sign up for a planning appointment on our website (lead time approx. 7 - 14 days). Send us your input plans or object photos and fill out our planning forms. During the joint appointment, we go through your premises room by room and bring in our expertise. Finally, you will take home the storyboard prepared for your planning. Within 7 days, you will receive your individual offer, which we are happy to discuss and adjust with you.
What is the difference between lighting planning and lighting consulting?
What is the difference between lighting planning and lighting consulting?
In a lighting consultation, the outlets in your object are already present, and only the suitable fixtures need to be selected. This consultation is free of charge. A lighting planning involves a new building or a complete renovation, where the light outlets are newly planned and positioned. Planning costs apply here, which you can view on our lighting planning page. We handle all communication with your electrician and offer additional services such as on-site appointments, 3D visualizations, and lighting calculations.

This is easily possible! We specialize in online lighting planning and guide you through the planning via Zoom meeting on your PC, tablet, or phone. A digital tour of our exhibition is also possible.
How do I find out if the light bulb is included in the delivery?
How do I find out if the light bulb is included in the delivery?
Fixtures in our shop are delivered – depending on the manufacturer – with or without light bulbs. You can find this information in the tab "Technical Details" under "Light bulb included". If the light bulb is included, it says "Yes". Otherwise, it says "without light bulb". If needed, we assist you in the tab "Light bulb" in choosing the right light bulb.

In the tab "Light bulb", suitable light bulbs for your fixture are recommended. If the light bulb is included, you can quickly find the right replacement bulb here. If the light bulb is not included, you will receive a selection of suitable light bulbs compiled by Skapetze, which makes your search easier.

That depends on whether the ordered items are in stock or need to be ordered from the manufacturer. You can view the approximate delivery time for each item on our website.

You can find the search function at the top of the website (header). Just enter your search term. Alternatively, you can use filters in each product category to select your desired lamp by color, material, socket, or style.

If you can't find an item, please contact our customer service or send us an email at service@skapetze.com. We would be happy to check if we can order the desired product for you.
Is it possible to get a VAT refund when delivering to Germany and later exporting to Switzerland?
Is it possible to get a VAT refund when delivering to Germany and later exporting to Switzerland?
Yes, if the goods are shipped to Germany and you personally import the shipment into Switzerland, simply have the invoice stamped by customs and send us the original invoice with the stamp. We will then refund the VAT to you.

No, you can also order as a guest at Skapetze. Simply select the option 'I would like to order as a guest' during the ordering process.

To change your customer data, go to 'My Account' at the top right and log in. Under 'Address Book', you can change your billing and shipping address. In the menu item 'Change Password', you can adjust your password. Click on 'Change' and then on 'Save' to confirm your changes.

If you can't log in, simply use the 'Forgot Password' function. You will receive an email within seconds with the option to set a new password.

Yes, under 'My Account' you can specify your billing and shipping address in the 'Address Book' menu. If you do not check any boxes, you have the option to provide multiple delivery addresses.

In the 'Orders' menu item, you will receive an overview of your recent orders. Select an order to see detailed information.
