What is a motion detector?

A Motion Detector is an electronic device that uses a sensor to detect movement in its surroundings and automatically responds to it. Typically, this triggers an electrical switching operation, such as turning on Light.

How a Motion Detector Works

A motion detector monitors a defined area and detects changes caused by movement. As soon as movement is detected, the device activates a predefined function, usually related to the Lighting.
