DIN EN 12464

DIN EN 12464 is a European standard for lighting at the (indoor) workplace, which is to be observed by all countries. Part of this standard namely DIN EN 12464-1 [8] Together with the technical rule for workplaces ASR A3.4 [7] Describe visual and light-technical requirements for the artificial lighting of interiors at workplaces. Among other things, there are information on the necessary lighting strength depending on the workplace and specifications for limiting glare.

The second part of the standard deals with workplaces outdoors, which has been valid since October 2007. Since March 2003, DIN EN 12464 has been replacing a large part of the National Nation in Germany. DIN 5035.
