DIN VDE 0710-13

DIN VDE 0710-13 is a standard that deals with the ball throwing safety of lamps for sports halls. It states that incoming balls are not allowed to damage a lamp so much that entire parts of the shook fall out. In order to check this, the lighting must be shot 36 times from three directions at a maximum of 60 km/h with a handball -sized ball. If it withstands it, the lamp passed the test and can be used in a sports hall.
