ICR technology

The abbreviation IRC comes from English and stands for infrared coating, which means something like infrared coating in German. This coating is used to reduce the energy consumption of lights and make it much more effective. Up to 30% of energy can be saved with the same luminous flux by using the IRC technology to reflect the heat radiation back onto the light wire of the lamp.

In more detail, the IRC technology works as follows: A special infrared coating is attached on the inside of the lamp pel.

This IRC technology is then used, especially with two-sided locked high-voltage and low-voltage halogen lamps to reduce their energy consumption. Although these luminaires are by no means energy -saving, but with IRC we at least contribute to saving energy and thus environmental protection.
