Indirect lighting

One speaks of an indirect lightingif the light of a lamp of ceilings or walls is reflected and not directly in the Space beams. It is therefore exactly the contrast to direct lighting, because it shines directly on the user levels of the room in order to reveal all the details here. This does not make indirect light exactly, but takes the detour through the reflection surfaces and thus looks much softer.

Particularly white walls or blankets are then suitable as reflection areas for indirect light, because colored absorbing part of the light, which in turn can be used consciously as a stylistic device. Above all, they are suitable for this Ceiling, LED Strips or other up or downlights that do not shine directly into the room. The light generated by indirect lighting or indirect lighting is then perceived not only by the detour via walls or blankets, but also by the few shadows and the avoidance of blits.

Indirect lighting is used due to the soft, pleasant light in living rooms or bedrooms, but also wherever you want to create a relaxing feel -good atmosphere. Often you also find a combination of direct and indirect light, for example to have suitable direct light during the day and to be able to make yourself comfortable in the same room in the evening.
