Mast lights

Luminaires are referred to as mast lights in which at least one luminous body is attached to or on a mast. It is a matter of Outer lights, which can often be found under the terms masting or mast base lights, since they normally do not form a unit with the mast. Lamps are considered mast lights if they have a height of at least 2m, otherwise they are under the category of path or Bollards fall.

This type of lights is used primarily in city lighting - in pedestrian zones, paths, squares and parks as well as for residential areas. Mast lights are also used in the private sector such as in large courtyards or gardens. They are available in a wide variety of shapes, colors and designs, so that they not only donate light, but also meet decorative purposes. Whether for safety in road traffic or in the old town for a suitable flair - mast lights have become an integral part of the cityscape.

Nowadays there are already mast lights to buy as solar lamps in order not only to save electricity costs, but also to reduce energy consumption - which makes a lot of things with complete city lighting. In addition, these lamps, just like most other outer lights, show a higher one IP-Type of protection to withstand the weather conditions and increase their lifespan.
