Casambi ASD Module Controller Dali glow

The CBU-ASD unit is a module that can be integrated directly into a lamp to control it wirelessly. It is designed for halogen drivers with 0-10V, 1-10V and LED or DALI DIMM interfaces. It is possible to configure the tax output as a digital DAMM DIMM interface on site or as an analog interface. The module is controlled wirelessly via the Casambi app for smartphone and tablet (via Bluetooth 4.0), but also a control via the light switches is possible. With Casambi CBU-ASD modules you also have the option of controlling a large number of lights from any point. This is made possible by a safe and wireless mesh network, which automatically create the units. Neither repeater or router, cables or external gateways are required for this.

The functionality of the Casambi network

Every Casambi module is also a transmitter and receiver. This creates its own Bluetooth network (mesh network). The modules communicate with each other and therefore do not need a central unit. A Casambi module automatically contacts all other reachable modules. This always ensures that all modules are up to date. The outdoor radio range is about 20m and expands from lamp to lamp. Two modules with different properties are currently available. Both modules can be easily combined in a network.
