Description
The elegant hanging lamp carpa looks simple and yet is excitingly designed. Its flat, semicircular umbrella is open downwards, but the light can also escape in all other directions. This enables the delicate network that forms the umbrella. A base frame made of metal offers the necessary hold for the fine cotton threads that give the screen a special, individual pattern and make it appear like a braid in the overall look. a solid lighting object that integrates into numerous furnishing styles.
Below the umbrella, a subtle bowl is mounted with a distance from the illuminant (not included) with a passage in the middle, which is held by graceful struts and is aligned upwards. The light radiates directly onto the shell and is partially reflected upwards, so it steps through the gaps of the network and creates a very special photo in the room.
The lamp was designed by Jette Scheib, a designer, who studied industrial design at the University of the Arts (Berlin) and later settled in Barcelona. It develops products for international companies that specialize in home accessories and lighting and says that the most beautiful piece of furniture will never be comfortable without the right lighting.
