Description

Flame element for Flying Flames Moritz Waldemeyer, Ingo Maurer and Team 2013

The flame element is fixed freely on the canopy slab of the Flying Flames System and supplied with electricity via one of the ten slots. Based on video material, small LEDs reflect the light flickering of a flame realistically and fascinating. On each side of the flame element, 128 LEDs form a rectangle. The flame elements can be individually dimmable. The length of the supply and holding cables can be adjusted. Flying Flames enables the design of individual candlesticks. It combines the amazing LED candles that Moritz Waldemeyer and Ingo Maurer presented in 2012 with a simple and functional downlight element. To install Flying Flames you need: a canopy (available in two sizes). A maximum of 10 flame elements can be operated on the canopy and up to three downlight elements. The flame elements cannot be used without a canopy because the ballast is integrated in the canopy.
