Description
The LED ceiling light AJ Munkegaard by Louis Poulsen is based on a design by Arne Jacobsen from 1955, originally created for the Munkegård School in Denmark. Like a floating glass plate, the light blends almost flush into the ceiling and balances light contrasts in the room.
The two-layer construction of matt white acrylic and tempered glass provides uniform, warm white light. The tempered glass increases safety and can be detached from the acrylic diffuser for cleaning.
With a diameter of 52.5 cm, the light is suitable for living and dining areas, hallways or kitchens. The permanently installed LED is dimmable via DALI, allowing the brightness to be flexibly adjusted to suit any situation.
