What are the advantages of a 2-phase 230V conductor rail?

In addition to this possibility of connecting several luminaires despite only one existing connection point, there are numerous other advantages that such a lamp track offers. In contrast to a system with just one phase, a 2-phase track system makes it possible to set up two circuits. This means that each phase can be switched or dimmed individually, creating different lighting scenes.

For example, if there are a total of five lights on the track with two on the first phase and three on the second phase, it is not always necessary for all five lamps to light up at the same time, but only the two on the first phase can be switched on. In addition, a 230V 2-phase track is a high-voltage track, which therefore does not require a transformer, as would be the case with a 12V track. Furthermore, 230V is the standard here, which means a much larger selection of LED spotlights for tracks, accessories and the tracks themselves. In addition, any number of tracks can be linked together, which is not so easy with only 12V due to the transformer and the total wattage.

With the right LED spotlights for the SLV 2-phase track system and track adapters, for example, a wide variety of lamps can be used to create the desired atmosphere in the room. The various connectors then make it possible to connect several tracks together and not just in a straight line. This means that the system can not only be extended, but can also accommodate more luminaires.

Thanks to the various feeders, there are also several options for connecting the 230V 2-phase conductor rail to the circuit: It can be supplied with the necessary electricity at the end, in the middle or suspended. The matching end caps then ensure the perfect look. If you want to make the track system a little more eye-catching, it can be positioned at a distance from the ceiling and therefore lower in the room using the suspension set.
