How can I combine the s.luce Orb?

You only need:

  • The choice of the Orb as a 250 or 500 cm version
  • The choice of the canopy (round, square
  • The conversion item that ensures you receive the Orb as a ready-to-connect version

When do I need a single light and when a combination?

If you already have finished ceiling outlets (power cables from the ceiling) and you want to use them exactly as they are, then the s.luce Orb as a simple version is sufficient for you. You just need to choose the desired length. Each s.luce Orb has its own canopy, so you can easily mount the single light.


However, if you want to combine multiple lights at one ceiling outlet, then you should use our sets, where the cable outlet in the ceiling is connected to the device in the canopy, allowing multiple lights to be combined with your desired canopy.

What is the "conversion item" that can be selected for the Orb?

This option ensures that we remove the canopy mounted on the s.luce Orb and mount the s.luce Orb lights to a multi-canopy in the number you desire.

In other words, this item ensures that you receive a ready-to-connect multi-light combination that you can easily mount.

Can I also place the Orb gallery light on a sloped ceiling?

No problem. Basically, it works perfectly. With our multi-canopies, the canopy is placed on the sloped ceiling and the lights themselves are suspended straight down. Depending on the roof angle, you just need to ensure that the lights do not collide. We would be happy to advise you on this if you write to us in the chat or via email!

I need more than 5 m of cable length. What should I do?

Just send us an email specifying which s.luce Orb in which colors and sizes you would like and in what length, and we will promptly send you the appropriate offer.

Can I also control the s.luce Orb smartly?

Since the s.luce Orb has a replaceable light source, you can also use a smart light source here and control it directly. Otherwise, if you use a dimmable light source, you can dim the light as desired. In the end, it all comes down to the light source you use. The s.luce Orb itself allows all possibilities.

How many s.luce Orbs fit on one canopy?

That depends on your choice of canopy. With our s.luce Modular XL canopy, which is available with a diameter of up to 120 cm or up to 230 cm in length, you can suspend up to 50 s.luce Orbs. However, this ultimately also depends on the size of the chosen s.luce Orb glasses. With 20 and 30 glasses, you can of course combine many lights.
